By purchasing and engaging tutorial services through Simple English, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set out in the Simple English ‘Terms and Conditions’ page and its relevant legislation.
Sale of tuition via simpleenglish.com.au acts as a platform to manage and provide administration of services and communication for clients.
Tuition fees are stated in Australian dollars and are subject to change. Clients are responsible for keeping copies of receipts for payments.

Delivery
Simple English complies with obligations under Australian Consumer Laws and guarantees that services are fit for purpose. Simple English will ensure that delivery of tutorials is complete within reasonable times, as discussed and agreed with clients and of an acceptable level of skill and care.
Safety practices and the safe delivery of tutorials are regulated as per the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011. Simple English will make every effort to ensure students are working in a safe environment and to minimise the possibility of damage, loss or injury through safety focused learning.
Delivery is in-person at an agreed location or through online delivery by arranged appointment time. Reasonable adjustments for tutorials are made available for clients with special needs, these should be discussed and agreed upon by Simple English and the client.
It is a condition of services that all clients comply with Australian legislation during the delivery of the tutorials including health and safety laws and anti-discrimination laws.
Refunds
Simple English complies with refund regulations as outlined in the Competition and Consumer Act 2012 and Australian Consumer Laws. Clients of Simple English have the right to a refund if the services purchased are not shown to meet obligations under Australian law and no remedy is provided to rectify or meet these requirements.
Refunds will not be issued for missed appointments or when clients do not provide reasonable and timely requests for change in tutorial times. Request for change of tutorial times must be made at a minimum of 24 hours prior to the appointed time of the tutorial.
Emergency change of tutorial time will be accepted with proof or records relevant to the event of the emergency, except where Simple English has legal rights under the consumer law or any another law.
Should Simple English be unable to deliver tutorial services on the agreed times, Simple English will advise you on your options to reschedule tutorial times. Should the client not be able to undertake any of the offered options, a full refund of the tuition fees will be applied.
Privacy
Simple English operates under the direction of the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1998 and is accountable for the use of your private information. The administration and management of your private information is handled with outmost integrity and respect for the diverse needs of individual clients.
Simple English will not share client information with any third party, unless where the law allows or requires the organization to do so. Your information will be kept safe to ensure the protection of your confidentiality and the privacy of all clients to certify safe delivery and management of services.
Photography or recordings are not permitted during delivery of tutorials, unless it is first discussed and agreed to for the purpose of training in speaking, pronunciation and phonics.
